I own a mobile home, rent the lot in ny state, ive been here 11yrs, the lease has always been renewed until ? this yr, we believe due to the fact we reported manager to health dept, for not fixing a bad septic, health dept gave him to wks to fix, 1 wk after this he sent us a letter saying we parked our 2nd vech. in front of home morer then 20 min, sent us another the next day, husband spoke to him he told my husband we were trouble makers and he is going to evict us at the end of lease, rent, water, yard, and home are always well taken care of, what laws do we have behind us, we cant afford to just up and move, someone please help worried in ny
my mother got a rent to own mobile home, signed a contract in front of notary public..? i took over the contract , i have not signed anything yet but i live in the home (not my mother).i am wanting to buy another house . is the contract that was signed in front of a notary binding? and can i get sued for the financial amount???im in sc no attorney was present . this is a contract that the seller printed off the internet.all it states in the contract is the amount of sale financing details. and that the seller is saleing as is and not resposible. thats basically it about the contract.
